Steph ENCOUNTER #1 I was in Nashville, TN for Fan Fair 2002 and I was in the Convention Center on Friday afternoon meeting LeeAnn Womack.  As I was in line my brother went to the CMT booth and he saw Tara McNamara and got me an autograph and came back and told me that Lance Smith from CMT was over there.  So after we got thru LeeAnn's line we went over there and I got in line as I was getting nervous, getting ready to meet the man that I loved watching on MWL.. So I got up there and told him that today is a special day as I am meeting you on my birthday...and he said "Happy Birthday, he asked what my name was and told him Steph....he told everyone standing around to say Happy Birthday to Steph and so everyone said Happy Birthday as I was embarrsed to death.  Well he ran out of pictures when I got up there so he wrote he autograph on a CMT Sheet and he also signed my hat too..So then I left and as I was leaving I watched the other fans meeting him.  It was so cool seeing him having all these fans, so then it was time for him to leave the CMT booth so then go walked over to the CMT Truck to do more autograps and I went over there and saw other fans meeting him and it was so cute one of the girls bought him Nacho's & Chesse and he said that he LOVED Nacho's & Chesse.  He wanted to share but the girl didn't want any.  So then My brother and I saw his MOM, DAD and brother, Taylor we met them.  They were so nice, his dad was so nice just talking to us like he knew us for a long time and his brother was real cute.  I went up to him again and told him about Loralie & Cristi's group, so then I asked him if I could get a autograph for Loralie cause she asked me to get her so I did and he told me that Cristi is around here some where...I said REALLY!!  Well that's it for now it was GRAIT meeting Lance on my B-Day... ENCOUNTER #2 I was in Nashville, TN for Fan Fair 2003 and was looking for Lance in the Convention Center and could not find him.  I had asked one guy at the CMT booth where Katie Cook was there signing and he said they tried to get Lance in there but couldn't.  Well this was Friday and my ticket to meet Trick Pony, I had a couple of hours to kill so I went down to the MWL Party on the Plaza (in front of GEC) to see if he was down there and he was w/Cledus T. Judd getting ready to rehearse.  So I hollered for him and he said hold on let me do a commercial or something like that. So I showed him the pic of him and me from last year and he smiled at me and said, "You gonna be here awhile", I said YES!  So I waited for him to get done.  After he had got done he came over, jumped the railing and gave me a hug.  So then we got to talking about last year and he was gonna say something to me about my birthday I think, but I told him that FF was 1 week earlier this year, so he said OH  OK.  Well he signed my pic from last year and I asked him if he got his B-day card from me and he said YES!, "Thank You so much, I have been busy.  Sorry about not notifying you and I said That's OK!!  I said I thought you said that You liked Gary Allan and he said YEAH he is one of my faves.  So I got my pic w/him again and he said, "you will have to excuse me but I have not shaved", and I said that's OK!  He laughed it was so cute.  So then there were other people wanting to meet him so I shook his hand and said see ya later, told him that I was going to meet Trick Pony and he said for me to tell those guys HI for him.  So it was fun meeting up w/Lance again for the 2nd time can't wait till the 3rd time comes along....
