One of my good friends and I met Lance in November when he hosted the MWL Tour. We went there with fan club passes to meet Chris Cagle and didn't even know that Lance was going to be there. Half way through the concert we realized who he was and put the two and two together. He had to go and announce Brad Paisley and he said that he would meet us after the show...well Bianca thought he wasn't coming back so she called him a booger..and sure enough he came back.. He had us go to another part of the stadium and then told us that he thought we weren't going to come back. We had him sign our American Flags and then I told him that Bianca had called him a booger.. He said "Oh really? I am a booger?" We all laughed.. Then I asked him for a picture.. He responded with " You can do anything you want sweetie." Well then our camera wouldn't work and he said ' That's okay, we can just chill" and he put both his arms around me and they got the camera to work.
So, we got pics of him hugging us tightly and a sweet story to tell all of our friends.
Second Encounter
Okay so the Friday night of fan fair was really rainy so Bianca and I decided not to stay to watch Darryl Worley at the MWL Party at the Plaza so we decided to go back to the hotel. We turned on the tv and and saw Lance there while we were getting ready for the nightly concerts and then we rushed down to the Gaylord Center so we could catch him down there. Bianca and I waited in line for all these other people to get autographs and then when we got up to him we said hi and asked him if he remembered us. It took him a minute and then he rememebered every little detail from when we met in Novemeber. He remembered our names, what we had him sign and that I was wearing something in my hair that night. I didnt even remember I had a bandana in my hair.. :) Once he remembered us, he reached out gave us both hugs and said it was nice to see us again..yada yada yada.. the usual small talk. He told us that he now had an official website and gave us a picture. He even remembered how Bianca called him a booger and then he started telling the crowd why we had called him a booger. We had to run and go to the nightly concerts so we told him that we would see him the next day for the Joe Nichols party.
Well, Bianca and I were walking past the Gaylord Center while he was practicing on Friday and he waved to us. He spotted us out. I was like, "Oh hey there" it was so funny. He knows us! :) And then at the MWL taping Bianca and I had gotten right up to the stage and when Lance was on the side of the stage, he saw us and pointed and then waved. He then during a break went around and was giving everyone high-fives and when he got to Bianca and I he grabbed our hands and said "Hello Ladies.." It was so cute.. Afterwards, we went over to just say good-bye because we wouldnt get a chance to see him on Sunday. We had been talking forever about getting a pic of the both of us kissing him on each cheek and so we decided to just do it. We go over and I was like "We just wanted to say goodbye.." And he was like "Well come over here darlin, it was so good to see you again"He gave me a hug, and then we asked him for a favor and he was like "Well, what is it?" and we told him about wanting to get a pic of us kissing him and he just was like "well, sure" and the first time we did it, THE CAMERA DIDNT WORK!! Then he said "You rigged the camera." OMG!! My face was so red, we were so emabarrassed, so we finally got it to work and we said good bye, got good bye hugs and ran off.. And we got the pic!!
